| The available bedroom is a daylit basement bedroom. The room comes available with a single bed and chest of drawers which can be removed if that is your preference. The room has a decent sized closet. If you wish to rent the room as a couple, that can be arranged. There is ample storage elsewhere in the basement, but the bedroom is quite large and could easily be comfortable with a double or queen-sized bed.
Adjoining the available bedroom, there is a large unfurnished room, which could be furnished as your own living area. That being said, it is shared accomodation and you're welcome to use the upstairs living room.
There is a large kitchen upstairs, also to be shared. For those that love to cook, it's equipped with a natural gas stove.
There are two bathrooms in the house, one upsairs and the other downstairs.
The house is high speed wireless internet equipped and, if you need downtime from studying, the house has a satellite dish, and there's also an X-Box 360. The basement is wired for satellite and I presently have an extra receiver which seems to do the job.
The house is on two city lots, so the backyard is of a decent size. There will be apples in the Fall, and if you're interested in gardening, I have a garden. There is also a large shed in the backyard for bikes and such. You'll also have access to my patio and bbq, and two picnic tables.
I don't have any pets. I'm a UNBC alumnus from the social work program, and I've lived and worked in PG for a long time.
It would be great to have a roommate with whom I hold some things in common but it's not necessary by any stretch. I'm into soccer, hockey, hiking, working out and swimming. I like to snowshoe in the winter months. |
