This condo features brand new wood laminate floors (less than a month old), actually secure security gates w/ intercom and buzzer to let people in, vaulted ceilings in all rooms, a gas-burning fireplace, A/C & heat, a full size washer and dryer, your bathroom has a skylight, and I just painted all of the rooms. The kitchen has a dish-washer, and there is a 1 car garage that will allow for extra storage space. I will be parking in it as soon as I sell some of the furniture that doesn't fit (I moved from a bigger space). There is also 1 off-street parking spot in the driveway in front of the garage.
Having just moved in earlier this month (Feb), I am in the process of changing the furniture in the living room and am shopping around for a new hdtv. I have a 12 year old male cat who is well behaved, but doesn't do well with other animals, so I won't be allowing anymore pets. You basically only need to furnish your own bedroom. The unit is on the top floor in the front of the building, so the shared walls are behind the bathroom and laundry closets. There are garages underneath so no need to worry about noise from below. Also there is a very nearby stop for the # 11 busline which is one stop away from the SDSU transit center, and one stop away from Park Blvd & University Avenue.
I am an easy going, and humorous gay male in my late 20's (UCSD alumni 08) who works as a television producer (I'm also a vegetarian). I am very tidy and expect you to be the same ie. There are no shoes worn in the house, and I try to make sure piles of stuff don't develop on every clean surface. I am usually pretty busy working on projects, but enjoy hanging out with friends (at home & away) as well as occasionally partaking in the nightlife. I would prefer a room-mate who is a respectful and mature - most importantly have verifiable income. No drug use will be tolerated and will be grounds for termination of lease.
The terms of the lease are:
3 months then after is month-to-month
$650 per month, plus half of utilities & cable-modem wifi. I would guess this is around $50.
Refundable deposit is same as single month of rent, due at the beginning of move in. I will need to do a credit-check as well.
